Written Profile
JODY Craddock moved to Sunderland from Cambridge United in July 1997 on the same day as the Stadium of Light opened.
He enjoyed a successful first season on Wearside, playing a big part as Peter Reid's men recovered from a disappointing start to turn their campaign around and make it to Wembley - only for it to end in heartbreaking fashion.
The central defender lost his place to Andy Melville a season later after picking up a minor injury but has re-established himself in the Premiership this season.
Craddock, who was spotted by Cambridge playing non-league football in the Wessex League, was voted into the Third Division's PFA team while at the Abbey Stadium.
The centre-back, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with Sheffield United last season, has made a big impression at the Stadium of Light this term alongside Emerson Thome.
